ADVENTURE TO KINGS LYNN!

Hello, all you lovely people!!! So as its a lovely three-day weekend, my parents and I decided to go take the train somewhere. And where better to go than the furthest place the ticket can get you! It's for the same price, so why not? Anyways, today we went to Kings Lynn, which is really up north compared to where I live. The journey was so long, we started it at 10am ish and got to our destination at 1pm. There was a period of time where for a solid 1 hour I was standing at the entrance of a completely crowded train, only holding onto my sweaty dad for support. Although to be honest, if I lost my balance, I probably wouldn't have even fallen down too much considering the number of people that were all squished together. Or I could have set off a domino effect, and everyone in the carriage would fall down like a Mexican wave...
On the trains, I read some more of the Iliad and it brought back so many memories! It reminded me of when I was in Turkey with friends and we acted out a few sections of it...it was so fun...whilst reading it today I imagined acting it out with my friends on a coach, using a sunhat as a dead body... Those good old times.
When we were actually exploring the town, we found that there wasn't much to see and do, so we bickered about pointless things, such as Chinese restaurants vs. McDonald's. In the end, we opted for both, so it was cool. And seeing as there was nothing to do, we decided to shop. We went to the most exotic shops, like T.K.Maxx and Poundland, where we bought the most exotic things like a shirt and chocolate. Yeah, totally trying new things here!

We had lunch/dinner (linner?) at Chopstix and McDonald's, had a little walk in the park and played on the swings, then went back to the train station to catch our train back home. Except it wasn't actually one train: it was a train, then the underground, then a little walk, then a train again. So it was a tube-and-feet sandwich with train bread. That sounds absolutely delicious! Not. It wasn't fun, I'm so tired now from running from one station to the next.
We got back home at around 8:30pm, and I'm super duper tired so I'm gonna leave it here for today, goodbye!!!
