Paris Adventures Day 4 (15/8/15) - Palace of Versailles & Gorgeous Gardens

Hiya!

Day four took me to the wonderful Palace of Versailles and its absolutely amazing grounds. I spent the whole day there, first exploring the palace itself then spending hours walking between the various groves in the garden. I went all the way down to the bottom too, to the Trianon Palaces and estate of Marie Antoinette.

It was fun, but my legs ended up killing me and I physically pulled my legs at the end when no one was looking... I also didn't have any money, so couldn't buy any lunch, and I couldn't find my mum (who should have been waiting by the palace but had unfortunately gone to get lunch when I went to find her).

So I walked for hours and hours, with no water, food, and only a dying camera for company. It sounds terrible and you're probably wondering why I stayed so long...

Well, the truth is it was just too gorgeous. At first, I wanted to skip the smaller fountains and groves, but I quickly realised that they were all different and all wonderful in their own ways. So, I guess I shouldn't complain, I brought it all upon myself.

Anyway, here are the photos. The weather started off really bad, so the pictures don't look very lovely, it's all grey and dull. But it gets better, sort of. In the end, I could only take one shot and then my camera would die so I couldn't check my photos. But that's where the art of editing comes in :)

And boy, did I edit them...

Hall of Mirrors ft. too many tourists

So fancy!

Garden pictures now :)
It's a shame the first half are so grey...

The blue scarf guy was being filmed there and I'm not sure what for but I scraped in anyway ;)

I love this

I want this room >.<

Temple of Love <3

I watched a really cool fountain show where the water moved in time with the music. It was really pretty :)

Paris Adventures Day 3 (14/8/15) - Arc de Triomphe, Posh Shopping and Place de la Concorde

Hiya!

So, day three already eh?

Day three took me to the Arc de Triomphe, where I climbed up a spiral staircase inside and was greeted with very awesome views at the top.

I then ventured down the famous Champs-Elysees (not sure how to get the accents when typing...), and explored the amazing expensiveness of the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, the posh 'loaded people' store where shops were cordoned off and security guards were in every little corner.

And a little walk in the rain later (why was it raining in Paris in summer, why?!) I came to the Place de la Concorde. I took photos of (and 'on') the fountains and of the Luxor Obelisk.

But then it started raining more heavily, so I had to leave :(

Why you such a downer, rain?

I spy with my little eye, something 'sacred'...

Pretty flowers :)

I went to town editing this one - didn't mean to at first, but I liked the colourful result so decided to stick with editing the poop out of it. But had to put it at the end because it doesn't fit in with the others...
