Paris Adventures Day 2 (13/8/15) - The Louvre

Hiya!

The second day in Paris was spent in the Louvre Museum. I walked all over the place, from one end to another, from top to bottom, and ended up with dead feet and legs. But it was worth it - I found some very nice statues of buff Greek and Roman guys to drool at ;)

Just kidding!

Kind of...

It was actually really cool to see famous artworks such as the Mona Lisa and the statue of Venus de Milo, as well as the very golden Apollo Gallery and the glamorous Napoleon III Apartments.

Madame Lisa draws crowds

It's a terrible picture, but that's what a layer of thick glass over a painting tends to do to photos...
Also, I'm just not a very good photographer, and didn't really spend that much time editing :(

I'm not going to 'arm you, I was just wondering if you needed a hand!

The opulent Napoleon III Apartments

And now photos of statues...

...and plates?

Paris, a Trojan hero (inner fangirl is happy!)

Sorry, couldn't resist a cool-angled shot :)

And this here is the goddess Thetis, mother of Achilles (inner fangirl squealing now <3)

This wasn't staged, I swear

I love you

Paris Adventures!

Hiya!

So yes, you can tell by the title, that I've been holidaying in Paris!

I spent roughly five days there, doing just about everything you can do and see. The Louvre, Sacre-Coeur, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Versailles...I could go on and on.

It was very tiring - my back ached like a ninety-year-old holding heavy weights, and my legs still feel like I've run a marathon. And through all that walking, I swear I've put on even more weight - French crêpes are too amazing :(

Anyway, this was just a little update to tell you why I've been missing the past week.

I took a few gorgeous photos (a meagre 1729, not too much. Note the sarcasm) but it takes ages to upload so I won't include any today. I'll also tell a bit about each day in slightly more detail, and upload each day separately, like my Cornwall posts.

Which reminds me, I haven't even finished sorting out photos for that D:

And on top of Cornwall and Paris photos, I've also got ones from the lavender fields.

*sigh*

Anyway, they're lovely photos if I may say so myself, so I don't want to just forget about it.

I'll get them up at some point :)

❤️

I love y'all
