Cornwall Adventures Day 3 (24/6/15) - Robin, Jellyfish & Chainmail

Hiya!

Again, sorry for being a day late, I'm kinda stuck in this cycle now and can't catch up again...

❤️

Yesterday I woke up to my dad's excited voice yelling about taking photos and his loud stomping as he searched for the camera. It turns out, a robin had flown into our lodge and was flying around the living room. Kinda cute, but then it pooped on a cushion...

Sorry about bad quality! :s

We first went to Padstow, a little coastal town in the north of Cornwall. We went to the Lobster Hatchery, which was fun. There were tiny baby lobsters just 1 cm in length, and pregnant mummy lobsters with eggs under their tails.

On the way to our next destination, Newquay, we stopped by a beach. We walked down to it in our inappropriate shoes and clothing (converse and a dress), whilst surfers ran past in suitable attire, and took many many photos.

Focus really changes a photo...

Capture your special day! I now take wedding photos! Contact me via email, or give me a call at...

I took this photo just because of the two hunks and I'm not kidding. Shame their boards are in the way... *drools*

I dunno what this mound was

And there were jellyfish! Purple ones and clear ones, stranded on the sand and melting in the sun. My dad picked one up and I poked it.

That one poke was the highlight of my day...

*poke*

In Newquay, we visited Trerice, a National Trust-owned house and gardens. It was very nice there, the people especially. They let me try on knight's armour - a chainmail top (it was really heavy and required so much bending!) and a helmet (also terribly heavy).

My dad, who became jealous of my awesomeness so also dressed up <3

These puzzle pieces are so cool!

Latin!

Then, in contrast, my mum later forced me into a corset, maxi skirt and headdress, and pose like a princess behind a frame. Oh, mother dearest...

Anyway, we then explored the gardens. There was a 'maze', i.e. a patch of overgrown grass with mowed lines to form paths. I don't know if that was what they were going for or...just a fail?

Oh well, it was a fun day, but very tiring.

I love y'all

Goodbye
